Robbie Rivera - Closer to the Sun

Robbie’s new album Closer To The Sun is poised for release on Black Hole Recordings this October. Featuring collaborations with the likes of Fast Eddie, Laura Vane, Moony (DB Boulevard), it’s progressive house music with a twisted, fucked-up attitude – the Juicy style.

A single of the same name will be released in the run up to the album on 23^rd September, with a slew of remixes from the likes of Inpetto, Oscar G, Joachim Garraud, Vandalism, Amo & Navas vs Les Schmitz and Cinema and a video shot in Ibiza – orchestrated by Robbie’s wife, Monica Olabarrieta.

And as if that’s not enough, he’s recently produced remixes for the likes of Basement Jaxx and Nelly Furtado and has upcoming remixes for the amazing Mastiksoul, Alex Gaudino, Pitbull and Jes. Then there’s the small matter of producing some tracks for Latino superstar Ricky Martin’s 2010 album, and some guy called David Guetta asking to remix his next single…
