In 2017, Ferry Corsten returned for his fifth artist album, 'Blueprint', a bold concept release that fuses electronic music with cinematic storytelling. Co-written with David H. Miller (House of Cards, Rosewood) and narrated by Hollywood actor Campbell Scott (The Amazing Spider-Man, The Exorcism of Emily Rose), the album follows protagonists Lukas and the extraterrestrial Vee on an interstellar journey of discovery, consciousness, and interdimensional travel.

Featuring vocalists HALIENE and Eric Lumiere, standout tracks such as 'Venera (Vee's Theme),' 'Edge Of The Skye,' and closer 'Eternity' trace an emotional arc from wonder to isolation to transcendence, anchored by the mysterious, unexplainable "Drum" signal echoing from deep space.
Drawing on sci-fi greats such as H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, and echoing the tone of movies such as Close Encounters Of The Third Kind and War Of The Worlds, 'Blueprint' is Ferry Corsten's most ambitious and immersive studio work yet, a cosmic odyssey exploring science, spirituality, and the human heart.
